Ca & Lou team up with illustrator Bruno Grizzo for their fall 2015 jewelry collection

Carolina Neri and Bérengère Lux, the founders of jewelry brand Ca & Lou, teamed up with Brazilian illustrator and fashion designer Bruno Grizzo for their fall 2015 collection that was presented during Milan Fashion Week. Grizzo, who has collaborated in the past with brands like Kate Spade, Coach, Jonathan Adler and Ann Taylor, created for the occasion a series of charming illustrations that incorporated Ca & Lou’s Art Deco-inspired jewels in the most imaginative way. The illustrations were later photographed and placed onto light boxes, producing an amazing sense of depth. A perfect match for Ca & Lou’s 2015 collection that was inspired by space, planets, galaxies and solar explosions, with pronounced geometric lines and stones cut as if they were asteroid fragments.

Ca & Lou was launched by Neri and Lux, who have worked in the past for Gianfranco Ferré and Jimmy Choo, back in 2010, in their attempt to fill a gap in the costume jewelry market. Their vintage-inspired creations, all hand-crafted in Milan, soon created a big buzz and gained them thousands of fans, among them celebrities Frida Pinto and Joan Smalls, and street-style darlings Giovanna Battaglia and Elisa Nalin. Ca & Lou’s jewels can be found at the brand’s online store, as well as at international retailers like Colette in Paris and Saks Fifth Avenue in New York.
