Hermès “Fox’s Den” window installation by Zim & Zou

Zim & Zou, the French design duo composed of Lucie Thomas and Thibault Zimmermann, have created a marvelous installation for the Hermès store in Paseo de Gracia, Barcelona. The hand-made window display is titled “Fox’s Den” and portrays a lovable fox, constructed from colorful strips of leather, inside a human interior that includes a series of furniture and household objects entirely made out of paper.

“It tells the story of a fox who moved into the window with all his personal objects, showing a bit of his life and personality,” say Zim & Zou about their installation. Various pieces from the latest collection of Hermès, among them scarves, shoes and ties, are placed throughout the room, giving us a clue about the fox’s luxury tastes. A perfect combination of sleek design and excellent craftsmanship, Zim & Zou’s playful installation takes paper sculpture to the next level!
